This Week’s Gut Health Tip: Eat more fiber! (It only feels right with our new name.)
Here’s the deal: 95% of Americans don’t get enough fiber.
According to Harvard’s School of Public Health, women should aim for 25 grams of fiber per day, and men 38 grams—but most people barely get 15. (Some gut health experts suggest that higher intakes—closer to 35–40 grams—may offer even greater benefits, but it’s important to increase fiber gradually and listen to your body. Personally, I aim for around 40 grams a day, and my gut feels so much better when I do!)
Fiber is essential—not just for digestion, but also for blood sugar balance, steady energy, gut health, and overall well-being.
Easy ways to add more fiber to your day:
- Start your morning with a gut-loving yogurt bowl: Greek yogurt, berries, and Hapüs Granola (9g of fiber just from the granola!)
- Add a big handful of greens to whatever you’re eating—even pasta, eggs, or sandwiches
- Add vegetables to every meal—even breakfast (think spinach in scrambled eggs or peppers in a breakfast burrito)
- Snack on avocado toast with whole-grain or seed bread for a fiber-packed boost
- Blend a full serving of Hapüs Granola into your smoothie—it adds fiber, natural prebiotics, and the perfect touch of sweetness without any added sugar
Small steps make a big difference. Your gut will thank you!
