Hapüs Wellness (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services, in order to provide you with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”). Our Services are powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described herein.
Personal Information We Collect
When we use the term “personal information,” we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information that is collected anonymously or that has been de-identified so that it cannot identify or be reasonably linked to you. We may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from this personal information, depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law:
Information You Provide Directly
Contact details: Your name, address, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
Financial information: Credit card, debit card, and financial account numbers, payment card information, transaction details, form of payment, and payment confirmation.
Account information: Your username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
Transaction information: Items you view, add to your cart, add to your wishlist, or purchase, return, exchange, or cancel, and your past transactions.
Communications: Information you include in communications with us, for example when sending a customer support inquiry or responding to a survey.
Information Collected Automatically
Device information: Information about your device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
Usage information: Information regarding your interaction with the Services, including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services, pages visited, time spent on each page, referring website or ad that brought you to our site, products viewed, items added to cart, and purchase activity.
Information Collected by Third-Party Tracking Tools
We use the following third-party tools that collect data about your activity on our site. Each tool may set its own cookies and collect information according to its own privacy policy:
Shopify Analytics: Our e-commerce platform collects transaction data, browsing behavior, and device information to power our store and provide us with sales analytics. Shopify’s privacy policy is available at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel: We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram, to build custom audiences for ad targeting, and to deliver retargeting ads to people who have visited our site or taken specific actions (such as viewing a product or adding to cart). The Meta Pixel collects data about your browsing behavior on our site and sends it to Meta. You can manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. Meta’s privacy policy is available at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, including which pages are most popular, how users navigate between pages, and where visitors come from geographically. Google Analytics collects anonymized browsing data using cookies. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Ads Conversion Tracking: We use Google Ads to advertise our products in Google Search results and across the Google Display Network. When you click on one of our Google ads and make a purchase, Google’s conversion tracking records that action so we can measure ad performance. Google may also use this data to show you remarketing ads on other websites. Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
Klaviyo: We use Klaviyo for email and SMS marketing. Klaviyo tracks whether you open our emails, click links within them, and what actions you take on our site after clicking. This helps us send you more relevant content and offers. Klaviyo’s privacy policy is available at klaviyo.com/legal/privacy.
TikTok Pixel: We may use the TikTok Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on TikTok, build audiences, and deliver relevant ads. The TikTok Pixel collects data about your browsing activity on our site. TikTok’s privacy policy is available at tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Microsoft Clarity: We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our website through session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity captures how you scroll, click, and move through pages so we can identify usability issues and improve the shopping experience. Clarity may also collect device and browser information. Session recordings are anonymized and do not capture text you type into form fields such as passwords or payment information. Microsoft’s privacy policy is available at privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement.
Personal Information Sources
We may collect personal information from the following sources: directly from you, including when you create an account, visit or use the Services, communicate with us, or otherwise provide us with your personal information; automatically through the Services, including from your device when you use our products or services or visit our websites, and through the use of cookies and similar technologies; from our service providers, including when we engage them to enable certain technology and when they collect or process your personal information on our behalf; and from our partners or other third parties.

We measure and improve the performance of our advertising campaigns across platforms like Meta, Google, and TikTok, and show you relevant ads on those platforms.
Security and Fraud Prevention. We use your personal information to authenticate your account, to provide a secure payment and shopping experience, detect, investigate, or take action regarding possible fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity, protect public safety, and to secure our services.
Communicating with You. We use your personal information to provide you with customer support, to be responsive to you, to provide effective services to you, and to maintain our business relationship with you.
Legal Reasons. We use your personal information to comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process, including requests from law enforcement or government agencies, to investigate or participate in civil discovery, potential or actual litigation, or other adversarial legal proceedings, and to enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.
How We Disclose Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary consideration. However, we use advertising pixels and tracking tools (such as Meta Pixel, Google Ads, and TikTok Pixel) that share certain data about your browsing activity with those platforms to deliver targeted advertising. Under some state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), this type of data sharing for targeted advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even when no money is exchanged. If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of this type of sharing — see the “Your Rights and Choices” section below for instructions.
In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy. Such circumstances may include:
Service providers: Shopify (e-commerce platform and payment processing), Klaviyo (email and SMS marketing), Microsoft Clarity (session recording and heatmap analytics), USPS and other shipping carriers (order fulfillment), and any co-packing or fulfillment partners involved in preparing your order. These vendors and third parties perform services on our behalf, including IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment, and shipping.
Business and marketing partners: Meta/Facebook (advertising and analytics), Google (advertising and analytics), and TikTok (advertising and analytics). We use these platforms, along with Shopify, to support personalized advertising based on your online activity. Our business and marketing partners will use your information in accordance with their own privacy notices.
At your direction: When you direct, request, or otherwise consent to our disclosure of certain information to third parties, such as to ship you products or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations.
Corporate transactions: With our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group, or in connection with a business transaction such as a merger or bankruptcy.
Legal obligations: To comply with any applicable legal obligations (including to respond to subpoenas, search warrants, and similar requests), to enforce any applicable terms of service or policies, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights, and the rights of our users or others.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Pixels (also called web beacons or tracking pixels) are small pieces of code embedded on a page that send information to a server when the page loads.
Types of Cookies We Use
Essential cookies: Required for the site to function. These include your shopping cart, login session, and checkout process. You cannot opt out of these without losing site functionality.
Analytics cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our site (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). These collect data about browsing behavior including page views, clicks, scrolling, and session duration.
Advertising cookies: Used by Meta Pixel, Google Ads, and TikTok Pixel to track conversions, build audiences, and deliver retargeted ads. These cookies may track your activity across other websites and platforms.
Marketing cookies: Used by Klaviyo to track email and SMS engagement and personalize marketing content.
Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, though this may affect site functionality. For advertising-specific opt-outs, you can adjust your ad preferences directly on each platform: Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences, Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com, TikTok ad settings within the TikTok app. You may also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Our site recognizes the Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal. If you visit our website with GPC enabled in your browser, we will treat this as a request to opt out of any activity that may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for the device and browser you used to visit our site. You can learn more about GPC and enable it in your browser at globalprivacycontrol.org.
Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. At this time, there is no universally accepted standard for how businesses should respond to DNT signals, and our site does not currently respond to DNT browser signals. However, you can use the cookie management and opt-out methods described above to control tracking on our site.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Information you submit to the Services will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside, in order to provide and improve the Services for you.
In addition, to help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data and information obtained from your interactions with our store, along with other merchants and with Shopify. To provide these enhanced features, Shopify may make use of personal information collected about your interactions with our store, along with other merchants, and with Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for the processing of your personal information, including for responding to your requests to exercise your rights over use of your personal information for these purposes.
To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal information and any rights you may have, you can visit Shopify’s Consumer Privacy Policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Security and Retention of Your Information
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All payment transactions are processed through Shopify’s secure, PCI-compliant payment system. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security.” We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.
How long we retain your personal information depends on different factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, to provide you with Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce other applicable contracts and policies. Marketing data (email, SMS) is retained until you unsubscribe. Advertising platform data is retained according to each platform’s own policies.

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights listed below in relation to your personal information. However, these rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances, and in certain cases we may decline your request as permitted by law.
Right to Access / Know. We may need to verify your identity before we can process your requests, as permitted or required under applicable law. In accordance with applicable laws, you may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights.
